Escaping the art gallery for now – she fully intends to return after her piece has been safely installed without any interference from her – Ariyah enters the bar and buffet area of the “party”.
She looked around the much more sparsely populated room and noticed a familiar silhouette. The woman’s back was to her, but Ariyah was pretty sure she recognised Iris’ stance.
Remembering their pleasant business meeting the other night, Ariyah decided to greet the older Kindred. Maybe her client, Clark, has contacted Iris already.
The Asian Toreador made her way across the room and – still not seeing any more than Iris’ back – popped up from behind Iris.
“Hey Iris,” Ariyah remembered that the older Rose preferred a more casual approach, “how’s it… what are you doing?”
