It has been days since I’ve left Colander’s Room, and I’ve trekked through miles of the Corridor Pass without seeing neither hide nor hair of a large army marching through.
There’s been game aplenty in the lush forested area that makes up the pass; traps left out the night before usually yield a couple of horned hares the following day. This was just more evidence that no large body of people has come through here.
I was beginning to think that the Thousand Blinded priest had lied to me when I spotted a column of smoke rising from the other side of a mountain ridge.
It seems I have quite a hike ahead of me.
