Game Information
Colostle is a solo RPG where your character explores and adventures in an impossibly large castle, where the rooms are big enough to house entire mountain ranges, forests or seas. The ceiling is so high that they are beyond sight, and the landscape can change drastically between rooms.
Creatures of all shapes and sizes roam these lands, but the strangest of all are castle-shaped rock automatons, known as Rooks, that roam the countryside. They represent the only source of magic in this world – which means they can either be an adventurer’s greatest threat or the most lucrative target.
The game is played by drawing a card from a standard 52-card deck and answering the corresponding prompt in the rule book.
This is essentially a journal-writing game, but I would be trying to keep my entries fairly short as I don’t want to get bogged down with writing a novel-length story.
